A to Z for a Younger Me

A first and last letter to dear younger me, from the man who may not have learned from all of your deeds. Before I write any further, know you’re not as clever as you thought you were or could be, and when it’s all over, you get caught like a plebe. Caution you may expect to be my advice, but the thrill of the chase I admit is too nice, as you send the cops in circles, as they try to hunt you down, to stop you from spreading your mayhem around.

Death sentence is what you’ll recieve for your crimes, so please forgive that I don’t have much time. Each occasion in court you plead your hopeless case, for you, the Calamitous Conundrum, there will be no grace.

Friends you once loved will leave you behind, and there will be others you won’t care to mind. Goodbyes won’t be heard from your old crew or the new, and all the lovers who swore they could never live without you. Here and there will remain pieces of your soft heart, but if I get too specific you may not let yourself start.

Imagining all that could go wrong on your unbeaten path won’t do a thing to help make you last. Justice will be served for your horrible sins, but you won’t regret where all you’ve been. Keep true to the person you were always meant to be, despite all those that wish to stop our destiny.

Learn as much as you can and don’t rest on your laurels, or sooner will come the day of your foil. My days have been full of such fun that my heart would break to think that you might not have your chance to partake.

Never second guess what you’ve always known to be true, you were born to show the world how much destruction you can do. Other than Lily, I have no regrets, as you will find out that she is the best. Please understand what I must say fellow I, as one day you’ll see clearly that she has to die. Quite often you’ll feel life would have been better, if you could have saved Lily and possibly wed her.

Repress the urge to work with other dastardly villains, as you can’t count others to share in your feelings. Saying they want the world to burn as they stand by your side, but when the going gets tough, you’re left high and dry. To use them as pawns in your schemes would be much more the wise, as the only close companion you need is no other than I.

Understand early that no one will see the world as you do, even if it’s someone or someones whom you thought you once knew. Victory may not seem like it’s my ultimate end, but I would not wish to change where you’ll be or where I’ve been.

Well, the guard is here to take me to death, my old friend, and I doubt I’ll get the chance to write you again. Xoanons of us may be made once the executioner is through, sculpted by admirers of the things you have yet to do.

You were the only person that I did truly love, and if I had realized that sooner life may not have been so rough. Zeal for all that you want is all that you need, and when your death day comes you won’t even plead.
